I did a senior portrait session last Saturday and really enjoyed it. The subject was really into it and was easy to direct and was having fun posing. His Mom said, "The pictures look wonderful, they look like a professional commercial, EXCELLENT!" Here are some examples of the portrait photos session done in Austin. For Portraits in Texas I was shooting mostly with my new 85mm f1.8 canon on my canon 5d mk II using no reflectors and no studio lighting. As well as some with my canon 50mm f1.8 series 1. Which by the way is way sharper with better color rendition and better focusing than the canon 50mm f1.8 with full plastic body
I photographed The Boutiqe Real Estate team about a month ago now for some new advertising and web material they plan on releasing. The team was very nice. I do all of their real estate photography for them as well. The portraits turned out great, I did some with lighting (alien bees) and some with natural window light their new office under the ashton on lavaca and cesar chaves has great window light with one gigantic window running along a whole side of their building. Here is a photo of the new office as well. Photography for Real Estate. The professional portraits aka headshots turned out well and I think will be very helpful for the team.
New portraits I did for a non profit in Austin. The foundation needed some professional portraits and kind of action shots for some upcoming PR pieces and for their website. We got it done in 4 hours we started at their office then did a fake speaking engagement for photos that looked like she was speaking at a conference, conference photos, commercial events, then we went to the Texas capital building for some environmental portraits. I liked these the best. The subject was easy to shoot and had a great attitude. I shot most of these with my canon 5d mk2 and a 50mm f1.8 series 1 with metal body.
